Masha and I have decided to re-work set stats. At first we had thought to nerf the higher-end sets, then we decided to try something different. We are instead going to buff all weaker sets - creating a small gap in power between sets. This will add a more equal style of game play.

I dont know about stats ex gas. Can post later how much did u reduce ex gas ?

 

And about helios dont reduce nothing ?

Jon Can u put the info for the Below Items ?

Because price of that items high ! But not feel like power full ?

Can i know Stats or Effect of following items ?

 

+10 Dark devil set[just want to know the stats ]

+10 Dead Wing

+10 Cyber wing

+10 Celetial Veil

+10 seracillas Ribbon

 

I like the new stats of the set ! ... [ Nice balance ]

I would recommend that you do both. Nerf/buff the weaker/stronger sets. Also make sure people still get their monies worth, even it that means the eGAS set is still OP, it still cost $400. Also take off some of the effects that some of the sets have, the random elements make one set way to OP, and from my experience xile started dying after the elemental sets came out. Believe it or not pvp is better when it's more predictable.

 

 

This is off topic but, try and balance out the classes. I saw in one thread for champs that they want the occult damage limit 120k. Seriously? 120k is ludicrous considering that you can spam that move insanely fast. Cap it at 70k that's being very generous on the cap if it were up to me I'd cap it at 50k.

 

That's only one suggestion but you can also look into a thread I made in the intro/goodbye section. Honor had a pretty solid idea on how to balance the third classes skill set.

 

 

when the server becomes more balanced and more classes become viable to use not just pallys/lk/sinx/champs that currently run the pvp side of things.

 

 

Edit: after seeing how you did the stats of the sets, I can see a balance with the lower level sets but the top tier sets still would absolutely destroy a tier 7 set let alone a tier 1/2 set. So far it's much more balanced so good job on the work but, consider nerfing the top sets 100 points, so that they still dominate but a tier 5/6/7 set still has a viable chance in a pvp.

 

 

Good job though.

 

 

Re edit:Sets 1-9 are balanced really well tbh. Egas/tier 11 set still need at least a 100 point knock off. Consider removing some of the effects from sets, ex:Bolts.

@turkey sandwich - almost everything you said is what we have planned :) - its good to see someone get the big picture. we just have to move slowly and do things bits at a time. plus we have many other updates we are working on as well.

@Turkey - As for class balancing it was started, then there was some talks (staff stuff), and then my work life got batshit crazy. This is the first free bit of time I have had for about a fortnight now, but everything has settled and returned to normal. I will be getting straight back on them this week and hopefully have 2nd classes all done by the next weekend. Third classes will come after that. Always looking for volunteers to help, if you're interested send me a PM.

I understand irl things get in the way, hopefully you can balance the classes well.

 

As for the volunteers, I don't know coding but "Honor" does. I would happily test out anything though, it would also go without bias considering I haven't played in years until just recently. I'd like to go over your current ideas on how to balance the classes skills and I'll be more then happy to give constructive criticism/my thoughts on how to balance(buff/nerf) certain skills. I'll pm if you're interested in my lulzy offer.

@Reign To make your work fast and easy come online daily and do pvp in go 15 !

so that can help you more easy to balance the skills . and ur work will be done faster

And if you can Xile, make the nerf for it's helios version too D:. Consider also luk in it.

@turkey sandwich: Champ occult cap damage nowdays is 50k, and yes back then it was 120k :)

it happens to me also, first log theres a additonal stats but when i change a weapon or any equip it will back to previous stats..i think this rebalance stats is not working properly.

it good rebalancing..nice...

but after switching arrow/weapon or armor...

set stat roll back to its old set stat.....

i hope it will be permanent...so that no need to relog again to gain the new stat after switching...THANKS:)
