Jailbreaking an ipod

Well i wanted to ask that is jailbreaking safe(for the ipod) and do the iStore ppl accept jailbroken ipods ive never done it b4 but the warranty of my ipod is just over so i was thinking of jailbreaking it i tried to search google but i actually wanted to ask ppl who hv done it themselves plz answer

If they do accept it, they will most likely restore it to defaults.

I dont worry if they restore jailbreaking is a2min job but the problem is that do they accept????

Call them and as. Or better yet reset the thing to defaults yourself unless you can't. I don't know how do they work, but it's generally a rule that tampering of any form voids any warranty. But in your case, you say it's been already over, so...

I jailbroken my iPhone and I didn't care about the warranty coz I know what I'm doing if ever it fails I can just restore to factory settings and jailbreak it again, and make sure you know how to downgrade if ever you accidentally update the firmware through iTunes...
